People who fight for rights,
don’t you dare teach them about nationalism.
Don’t tell me why I don’t write about immediate reactions…
why I let it rot and then come through like a filthy pit…
Don’t you show the music how it should flow…if you have the rhythm then lose your body and let it swirl through this commoners rock and roll.
If you want fight then go to the war and show what it is not in the faces of summer skirts and first kisses…
How you are planning to barricade the thoughts? How you are going to shoot when you see only bloods coming out of the holes?
Let me tell you something that you probably don’t know… awareness is a wave, freedom is a lamp carefully hidden inside a beach house…
and revolution is a poem that still finds a way…finds an audience…finds a culture…finds a spark.
