The road side food joint is glittering with cheap lights and truck drivers and songs from childhood.
It’s good to be on the road… these fascinating people with their fascinating stories are flowing all around the place.
Beers are chilled… smokes and fire…and the lights of a trippy bohemian tune.
Women and places I have traded…beds have always been different and people on them radiated liberation and love
and shamelessly I have taken them and in return I have given only my routine self.
There’s a light on the top of this mountain…and these lights all around me…
I can hear they are communicating, they are sending invisible intimacies,
the darkness in between…that’s us…
You, me, these whole caricatures of creation.
I could easily ruin my entire life for one night in this cold and sublime place…
The stretch is too real to ignore sometimes.
